Summer Bdays

I am a tad bit behind on posting.

But really...our life has kind of slowed down at the end of the summer (which has been FABULOUS)

I also have been playing around the house (redecorating, changing things up etc.) So I have spent much of my 'free' time doing these things.  And by 'free' I mean the 20 MINUTES that Reese naps...yes 20.  I am a little confused why I have two children who do not need sleep, when they have ME as a mother.  I often am very jealous of my sissy in law and Cohen's wonderful napping and sleeping skills.

Any hoo...

We celebrated the Thompson Summer Birthdays at Randy and Judies.

Everyone had a blast.

It was an awesome evening!  Most of the night was spent outside playing volleyball, racing around the yard and talking a nice walk around the block with the kiddos.

I also want to add that a week later my Aunt Judie went in for a check up and mentioned some arm numbness and headaches to her doctor.  They did a scan and found a tumor on her left side of her brain.  A week after that she had surgery to remove the tumor.

Everything went well as planned, but just keep her in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!

It was the last week of the Olympics, so in Olympic fashion there was some fast racing taking place!

Carter took this very seriously and won every time!    Maybe he will be a runner like his mommy :)
