Bachelorette Party...Vegas Style

Two weekends ago I went to Vegas with the girls for Sarah's Bachelorette Party! Some of the girls I have known since 4th grade....so of course we just had a blast! I used frequent flyer miles, so I flew in Wednesday night a day before the others. The weather was crummy and I ended up staying at the hotel all day and going to the Titanic exhibit, that will now be at the Luxor for then next ten years. I love that kind of stuff...very very interesting. I was super excited to see the girls on Thursday afternoon. We went out to eat at a steakhouse and then hit up the town. Friday was spent poolside and touring the 'strip'. And Friday night we dined at Hard Rock and visited the Ghost Bar 55 stories up at the Palms Hotel. It was an 'early' (by Vegas standards) evening, but perfect for me since I was leaving the next morning. I was so happy I got to celebrate with the girls....I can't believe Sarah is going to be a MRS!!!! Can't wait for the wedding in June :)

Madeline Rose

Our friends Allie and Eric DuChene had their baby a couple weeks ago...Miss Madeline Rose.  Carter and I went down for a play date with Allie and Kelly and their little ones.  It was a great morning.  Us mommy's were fine and dandy with our caribous and jimmy john sandwhiches!

Isn't she cute...look at all that hair!

Easter at the Standke's

Sunday we headed down to Owatonna to celebrate Easter and Patrick's confirmation with Jackie's family.  It was...once again...a beautiful day.  We had fun seeing everyone, Carter was a little crabby (teething) but still enjoyed cuddling with everyone!

Attempted a pic with auntie...he wasn't cooperating
On the four-wheeler with Great-Grandpa (and no Eric...you still cannot buy him one, or give him a ride....I will only let you take him on a SLOW lawn mower ride, and he will have a full out padded suit on and a helmet :)
With cousin stephanie....still being a crabby pants

Easter with the Remme's

We were very lucky this year because Josh's extended family celebrated Easter a week later (so we were finally able to hang with all of our family!) We headed down to Elysian on Saturday and celebrated with Dean's family at Mark and Kristy's on the lake.  What a beautiful weekend!

Easter with the Thompson's

We spent Easter with my family at my aunt and uncle's in Lakeville.  It was a beautiful day.  We were able to get some pretty fun pics down by the pond behind their house.  I hope everyone had  a wonderful Easter with their families.

Our little family
Love Carter's expression in this pic...what a little chunk
Carter loves his Nana

My cousins Kayli and Teagan (too cute!)

I bribed them to take this pic (but we can just pretend that they were like this and I snapped a pic without convincing them to do it)
In the swing...smiling at Nana

6 month stats

I know I am a little late buuuut....better late than never?

Carter had his 6 month checkup on March 18th and everything went really well!
He is 28 3/8 in (95-97th percentile) and
20 lbs 1/2 oz (90th)

Things were a little different with this photo session...Carter decided to pull himself up and over the side of the chair instead of smiling and sitting still for momma :)  He is just go...go...go.  Definitely allll boy!
I love this pic....he did this alllll by himself!
Our big boy has two teeth on the bottom....is crawling all over the place, and is happier and even more smiley (if that's possible).  He loves flirting and smiling with strangers in the store.  He only cries if he's hungry or sleepy and for those of you who have heard him cry...it's more of a whine.  And get this....the little man can pull himself up and stand!!  I peeked into the room over Easter and found the little guy standing in the pack n play! Josh and I are having so much fun with our little chubbers.  He's growing up so fast!
