We will miss you Bailey Boo

Growing up we had 3 dogs that were a huge part of our life.  Shelby our crazy, energetic husky/lab, Max her lazy, amazing puppy and Bailey boo a ... well we didn't know exactly what she was, but she was super cute.   Max and Bailey had to go live at my Grandma and Grandpa's farm, since we moved to a neighborhood that did not allow more than 1 dog.  My Grandma was amazing enough to 'adopt' our dogs.  They loved being at the farm, and Bailey would have gone crazy if she were trapped in the city.  She was a wanderer and loved to explore.  This past week my Grandma had to make a difficult decision to put Bailey to sleep.  They found a tumor and would have had to do extensive surgery to remove the tumor and there was a very good chance it would come back.  And for those of you who knew Bailey, she was a goofy doggy, who didn't like a ton of attention, and she would have hated having to go through any type of procedure.  The vet came out and put her to sleep peacefully.

My favorite memory of Bailey was when we got her, we brought her home (without asking dad first) and placed her in a puppy bed by the fireplace in the family room.  Dad came home, sat down on the couch, watched some t.v. and I swear 30 minutes later said..."WHAT is that?!"  hehe and of course she became a part of our family in a second.

We love you Bailey boo and we know you are in doggy heaven with Shelby, Max, Wes, Kirby, and Brandy causing a whole bunch of trouble.

St. Patty's Day and Tracy's 30th!

Hope everyone had a great St. Patty's Day!

This past weekend I was able to celebrate Tracy's 30th Birhtday. It was a blast! I met Tracy this summer at the softball games in Monticello. She is a good friend of Carissa's. She just looked so fabulous, and was the best hostess ever! We had so much fun!

I ran into Bridget, Jason and Bridget's husband in Big Lake. I just love this girl!

Fun with Auntie Carissa and Uncle Eric!

This past weekend we were lucky to have auntie Carissa and uncle Eric over. Saturday night we went to Maple Grove and had some fun at Dave and Busters. (kind of like a grown-up chuck e cheese) Lots of games, drinks and yummy food. We had a blast. The four of us stayed up late playing the dice game Farkle. The boys automatically lost, because they like to cheat. Girls Rule at Farkle!! And we want a rematch soon. Maybe my luck will be better next time around.

Carter with our winnings!
Can you say mini-me???

We put all of our tickets together and got the little man an elephant!

Yummmy Baby Food!

Carter just started eating baby food this week....we started with yummy sweet potatoes :) He enjoys the baby food way more than the rice cereal. I think he needed a little bit more flavor. Here are some cute pics of one of his food sessions...of course half of it ends up on his fingers or his bib.

I picked him up from daycare yesterday and Polly told me she felt a tooth, and sure enough, he has a little tooth on the bottom. He is growing up, way too fast!
