Apple Baby is much more cooperative

Well....now that I am almost 16 weeks and baby Remme is the size of an apple...the alllll day nausea has gone away, hopefully for good :)  I still have the random run to the bathroom in the early morning or late night, but I would so rather have that, as compared to feeling icky all day.

The Remme's had a fabulous weekend.  We went down to Savage on Friday to hang out with Ross and Chels.  Chels was expecting to see a baby bump...no bump yet :(  We enjoyed some dancing and a live band at the 'local' bar, and the boys took advantage of the fact that they had a very sober designated driver :)  Josh loves that for 9 months he has a free sober cab :)
Saturday, Carissa, Eric and Josh's parents came to Albertville for the day.  Eric (and Josh?) finished up loose ends in the basement to get ready for dry wall!  Jackie, Carissa and I made a trip to Arbor Lakes to do some shopping.  However before leaving for shopping, I called Perkins for takeout since I was craving hashbrowns :)  Random I know.  I don't think I could ever get sick of going to pottery barn kids...good thing I don't know if we are having a boy or girl, because I would have already bought the whole store.  I did finally plan a boys room this weekend though.  Since getting pregnant I have envisioned exactly what my little girls room would look like...but hadn't really come up with anything for a boy.  But I found the cutest Sailboat bedding for a baby boy.  We ended the night at Buffalo Wild Wings....yummm.
Sunday Josh and I had the windows open (59 degrees), took Lily to the dog park and did some spring cleaning.  I bought a new steam cleaner on Saturday so I steam cleaned our dining room and we cleared out the "baby's room" :) and cleaned that carpet.  We are getting closer and closer to when we find out what we are having, and don't worry I will be ready to paint and decorate that very day....well Josh will be ready to paint :)  What a fabulous weekend, glad I was feeling well to enjoy the beautiful spring weather!

Erin and Baby Remme head to Florida!

Joshua surprised me with a wonderful Valentine's gift...a ticket to Florida!  My mom and Jeff are down there for most of the winter, so it worked out perfect.  Josh unfortunately could not come, due to the price of airline tickets (outrageous).  I also joke around that he had another motive...to send me and my pregnancy hormones away for a long weekend :)

The weather was perfect, 70-80's, clear sunny skies.  We went to a twin's game (baby's first twin's game) in Sarasota.  It was pretty amazing, we were 1 row up, by 3rd base.  Its amazing how much fun a baseball game is when you're outside in the sun, it reminded me of watching Josh's college games down there.  I had my crackers in my purse just in case the nausea got bad...an older gentleman in the parking lot told me that I cannot bring the
crackers into the stadium.
Of course, I had a little something for that man, telling him they will have to deal with a very upset, nauseated pregnant woman if they don't let me.  He said, "well it would be different if you had a medical bracelet."  MEDICAL BRACELET for being pregnant?? Are you kidding me??  Anyways, I was able to keep my crackers in purse and the nausea was under control :)

Baby Remme didn't give me too much of a hard time, the nausea was bearable throughout the trip.  The plane ride wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, and I was well prepared with my saltines, water and snacks on hand.
It was an amazing trip, and I am very thankful that I have such a thoughtful hubby.
Lily dog also had a fabulous week while I was gone, we learned that she can now jump over her gate and every night she slept in my spot in our bed.  We have a spoiled princess on our hands.
Well...Baby Remme is now 14 weeks, officially done with my first trimester.... hoping that the nausea and vomiting end sometime in the near future.  "It" is the size of a lemon!  I have my second appointment on Monday.  Then it will be a couple more weeks
before we find out if we are having a boy or girl!  Yay!
