Christmas Tree!

Last Sunday we went and chopped down our tree!
It was a little spendy at the place we went to this year, so we chopped down one, and then got the other at Home Depot :)

Carter had a blast in the sled, picking out the perfect tree.
We even got to go for a hayride around the tree farm.

I love love love this time of the year, and seriously I think I want to change professions to professional tree decorator.
I could decorate trees all day long....so therapeutic :)

Here are my boys staying warm on the hayride....

I told him if he smiles for a picture with momma he could ride the tractor...
only way to get him to smile now a days :)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

25 weeks!!

How far along? 25 weeks

Total weight gain: ummm, 3 lbs at my last visit?? The stomach flu definitely did not help that, but my 'bump' is measuring perfect!

Maternity clothes? Not yet....just loving my bella band or I sometimes sport the unbuttoned jeans under my long shirts :)

Stretch marks? Nopers

Sleep: I could sleep allllll day long. Favorite part of the day is nap time for Carter and nap time for momma.

Best moment this week: Every week past 24! As a nurse I know this week is kind of the magic number. But baby....you need to stay cooking for A LOT longer. Also, Josh and I celebrated my birthday this past weekend. We had a 'date' weekend. Benihana on Friday night, Shopping, dinner and comedy club on Saturday. We also got our Christmas tree this past Sunday...so much fun!

Miss Anything? Sleeping through the night without having to go potty

Movement: Feeling baby more and more. Josh got to feel our little one last week! Baby is most active at bedtime.

Food cravings: Panera Chicken Cesar sandwich, Benihana, snickers, pickles, warm beverages....hot tea, lattes, coffee

Anything making you queasy or sick: Finally started to feel better at 22 weeks, but then the Remme Household came down with the stomach flu this past week. Ucky, second time this pregnancy with the stomach flu, no fun.

Gender: Still a surprise....even though my coworkers attempt to ultrasound me everyday at work :)

Labor signs: Nopers (good thing)

Symptoms: Just tired, I think having a toddler might have something to do with this.

Belly Button in or out? Has been out for a LONG time.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: I would say happy....I think my hubby would disagree at times :)

Looking forward to: Celebrating with family today at Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful this year....family, friends, a warm cozy house, jobs, and a baby on the way!

1st Snow of the Year!

1st Snow of the Year!

We bundled Carter up and brought him outside to play!

Daddy ran around the neighborhood and pulled Carter in his sled.
Carter had an absolute blast!

I tried to snap some pics as the boys zoomed past me.
(And yes...Josh IS wearing shorts) Don't ask.

Lily was even bundled up for the weather!
She loved the snow.

Tons of smiles and giggles.
All we heard when Josh stopped running was .... "AGAIN!"

I am sure we will spend PLENTY of hours outside this winter!

Morgan Marie has arrived!

Morgan Marie has arrived!

My cousin Paige had her baby on Thursday.

Everything went so well (I told her I was secretly very jealous of how wonderful her labor was). But really I am so happy for her and babe.

She arrived on November 17th, weighing 7 lb 1 oz and a whole 19 3/4 in long.

How incredibly adorable is she???? .... I know .... She is BEAUTIFUL!

Proud Auntie Britty

Momma and her little one

(Paige I can remember when you were Carter's age and your mom found you with Desitin ALLLLL over your baby doll's bottom) Just was practicing for this little one! (Just an FYI you don't have to use the whole tube this time for each diaper change :)

BIG yawn!

I just want to snuggle her. love love love her.

What a proud Grandma!
And look Judie! She really was smiling!

Welcome to our family Morgan Marie.

There will be plenty of cousins who will want to 'hold you standing up'
and cousins who will not understand that at age 9 months you shouldn't be going down steep stairs by yourself, and cousins who you should probably avoid until they get a little more gentle (AKA carter)

You have so many cousins, aunties, uncles, grandma's and grandpa's who already love you so much! Get ready to be held and cuddled A LOT.

Carter has met his match

Oh my goodness.....is it true???

Has Carter finally met another little one that will fight back???

Mr. Landon Peroutka came and visited us a couple weekends ago along with his mommy and daddy. Even though he is 8 months younger he definitely did not back down when Carter tried his "MINE!!" tricks.

The two of them were SO funny together.
Of course with the million toys surrounding them in our basement, they wanted the SAME toy.

Carter is used to grabbing a toy from another little one here and getting his way without much of a fight.

Well Landon went right back after Carter....A couple times the two of them were full out wrestling on the ground over a toy.

I can imagine that this is how Josh and Ross would have been when they were young-ins :)

We had so much fun with the Peroutkas!
And wish we could hang out with them Way more often!

Grandma Alfaro Visits

My Grandma Alfaro came to visit last week.
We got some pretty cute pics while she was here.
Makes me miss going out east to see everyone each year, Carter and I may need to venture out there this December before the babe comes.

ROAR!!!

ROAR!!!
Was the sound heard throughout the evening on Halloween.

That is the sound of our SCARY monster :)

Well we had to pretend to be scared....because I thought he looked pretty darn cute.

Family Picture on our steps.

Nana came up to trick or treat with Carter...
They had a blast running around the neighborhood.

Carter and Daddy at the 'Scary' house.

Hmmm I'll take that...thank you :)

We stopped by my coworkers house and snapped a few pics of Carter and Jillian.

Hope everyone had a fun filled Halloween!
We sure did!

Paigey's Baby Shower

My cousin Paige is due to have a little babe at the end of November.
We are all very excited to meet this little gal.
Paige looks fabulous, she is 37 weeks in this picture.
We had a shower for her this past weekend.
Miss Morgan Marie will be her name.
(well that's if she comes out a girl....
Paige and Joey have a backup name if the ultrasound was lying :)

Pic of my mom, Paigey and me!
Our two little bambinos will be about 3 months apart

Grandma Thompson, Paige, Judie (the grandma to be),
and Penny (fabulous host of the shower and auntie)

LOVE LOVE LOVE the color scheme of the room.
Purples and lime green!

Paige and Joey's family (sisters, mom and niece)

The monkey themed invite for the party!

Paigey and her sister Brittany (the auntie to be!)

Teagan, Paige and Riley

Oh the cousinship....love you two....
even though I don't know anything about football they still love me.

Paige, Allison, Britty and Nancy

I of course had way too much fun preparing for the party :)
Diaper cake for miss paigey and my grandma made an AMAZING cake in the color scheme.
It looks pretty and it tasted even better!

Love love love poms. They can be found here....

The banner I made for paigey's nursery

(I just wanted to give a shout out to Jess, the original party planner where I got this idea from.
She is no longer doing parties....but without her fabulous ideas I wouldn't have ever known how to make these banners. Not as good as hers....but I try.)

After the party we helped Kayli and Teagan carve their pumpkins.
As you can tell, Carter was a BIG help :)
