Our little 2 year old

Our little man turned two on Sept. 15th!

We had his 2 year checkup today.

He is:

36 inches (75-90%)

29 1/2 lbs. (50-75%)

Head 48 1/2cm (50 %)

BMI 16.0 (25-50%)

(I don't think his wt has changed since he was 1 year :)

He got one ouchy shot in the arm, and the flu mist.

Carter did so so so well at the visit.

He sat very still while Dr. Larson examined him,

and only shed a couple tears after being poked with a needle.

But it was all worth it when the nice ladies gave him 3 CARS stickers.

Later that evening on his birthday we met Nana and Brandon at Dave and Busters in Maple Grove. Carter LOVED it there, and would not come back to the table after he discovered all of the games. We had to take shifts chasing the little man around.

Uncle Brandon even won him a stuffed sponge bob!

Oh and he refuses to say he is 2...he argues and says ONE!!!

Jenna and Jacob Get Hitched!

Josh's cousin Jacob got married this past weekend to Jenna

in an outdoor ceremony at the Standke house in Owatonna.

It was a little chilly, but a beautiful celebration!

I just love fall!

We had a great time hanging out with Jackie's family.

Future Daughter in Law (Playdate)

Sarah is a coworker of mine, and her little family only lives 5 minutes away in St. Michael.

We always joke that her daughter Jillian (22 months) and Carter will be going to the same school and will be in the same grade.....therefore we will be arranging their marriage :)

Therefore Jillian is my future daughter in law.

She is so so so adorable. Carter has always been kind of a bruit compared to her, she is so little and petite. We thought they would make the perfect pair.

The girls came over for a playdate. Their mommy and daddy had a date at the State Fair!

This is Jillian's baby sister Kinsley...how cute is she!

And she was sooooo good!

Made me have a little more confident about being able to handle a toddler and a new baby.

(haha even though it was only for a couple hours!)

We joke because it is nice to have them around to watch Carter if we are in a pinch, but the next time we are getting a babysitter for all of the kids and the grown-ups are going out for a change!

Of course we picked THE HOTTEST DAY to go. (Thursday)

But it was still a blast!

We went with my Mom, Aunt Nancy, and cousins Mark and Jenny.

Carter LOVED the baby animals.

He wasn't too pumped about the big cows and sheep.

He kept saying, "Scared, Carter Scared!"

He won a little cow keychain and kept trying to share it with the baby calf.

Of course he found the tractor to drive.

He kept picking up the straw that had fallen out of the pen and would nicely put it back in. What a good little helper, keeping the barn clean :)

Saturday was a grand celebration!

Robyn and Travis got hitched!!

Robyn is Carissa's best friend, and we have had so much fun getting to know Robyn and Travis.

The Remme's had a blast at the wedding.

Robyn looked absolutely GORGEOUS!

I had to laugh...

I was sitting at a table with Josh and some other guys from Cokato, and they were all commenting on how pretty her dress was.

(I don't think I have ever heard guys talking about, let alone noticing the brides wedding dress)

It was so so so beautiful.

He spent the WHOLE day trying to get to Auntie.

He even decided to yell out during the ceremony....

John Deere Fun!!

Our little man is turning two this week!

We celebrated John Deere Tractor style on Sunday with family.

(The AMAZING cake was made by my Grandma. How cool is it, Carter loved it!)

It was a BEAUTIFUL day. We were able to enjoy the great weather on our new patio.
