Happy Halloween!

Friday we spent the night hanging out with Carissa, Eric, Robyn, Travis, Andrea and Flop.  Unfortunately we weren't able to have our Halloween party this year, but we had a blast hanging out with these guys!  Carter dressed up for the occasion, and of course we took plenty of pics :)  Carter even got a 1st Halloween book from his auntie.

Saturday the little man and I took a trip to St. Paul for St. Olaf's conference cross country meet.  I felt soooo old!  The only girls I knew were seniors!  They ran very well, and surprisingly it didn't make me miss racing one bit :)  I didn't get any pics since it was freezing and the little guy was snug as a bug in his stroller.  We all were wishing we could be bundled up like he was.

Saturday night Josh went to the gopher's game so I decided to take a road trip with my little monkey and the crazy lily dog.  I didn't really have the energy to deal with a crazy dog every time our door bell rang with trick or treaters.  We stopped at my mom's house and got some great pics, and then headed down to Lakeville to the farm to visit.
Hanging out with Great Grandpa Thompson, he was so content on his lap :)

A little update on our 'little guy.'  He weighs about 13.5 lbs and is wearing 3-6 month clothing (yes he is not even 7 weeks)  He is a champ when it comes to eating...surprise, surprise.  He sleeps for about 5 hours at night, wakes up to eat and then sleeps for another 3 hours.  He is such a good little baby, I can't really complain :)  He is 'cooing' and 'gaaahing' and spitting up frequently when Josh holds him...haha :)  I just love watching his eyes when he is looking around at everything, it's as if he is just trying so hard to take in absolutely everything.  We are having so much fun with him!
