It was a wonderful day to bring our little one home. We left the hospital on September 17th. Nana Lynn came to the hospital and helped us get settled in at home. It was a beautiful day, blue skies, sunny and 80 degrees. Carter loved the car ride home, he didn't make a peep. It was a little surreal bringing him home. Before we left the hospital, Carter got his picture taken...they turned out pretty cute! That evening we went for a walk around the block and introduced Carter to many of the neighbors. Jackie and Dean came up that night to bring the Lily dog home. She was a little weirded out, and didn't know exactly what to think. We were very excited to see her, it had been 4 days (the longest we had been away from her). It was very nice of Josh's parents to watch the Lily. Her and Chloe (Jackie and Dean's puppy) had a fabulous time together!
