Our cool dude got a haircut this week. Don't worry great-grandpa farmer...the blue washed out that night in the bathtub :)

So long nook

Carter is now 17 months old....and this past month he said goodbye to his bestfriend (his paci).

I think it was harder for mommy than it was for Carter. It just means he is getting to be a big boy :( I am going to miss his cute little grin behind that nook :)

When the Chap's were over last weekend, he even picked up Cohen's little nook, offered it to the baby, looked at us and started to put it towards his little mouth. He laughed, and gave it to me. What a little stinker.

Polly (daycare) has also found him in AJ's diaper bag searching for an extra paci or attempting to climb up to the spot on the counter where the nooks are kept :)

So long paci....thanks for acting as a plug on those nights when mommy and

daddy just wanted to sleep!

9 years ago today I started dating my Valentine. I'm not going to get all sappy...but I sure do love him. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Our Busy Week in Pics

Uncle Bran surprised us with a visit on Thursday....Carter loves his uncle....

Thursday evening Carter and I headed downtown Minneapolis to Jenna's condo....we had a fabulous dinner with lots of my runner friends from Olaf. Carter was very entertained the entire night with Jenna's mini little puppy, Bear.

Friday Josh and I had a date night with Briony and her hubby and Amanda and her fiance. I forgot to take pics though :( (Thank you to Nana Lynn for watching Carter overnight Thursday and Friday)

Saturday we headed down to Lakeville for a birthday bash. We were able to see my Aunt Penny's new house! It is so beautiful :)

Saturday evening Jackie and Dean came up to watch the boys while me, Josh, Eric and Carissa went to Pittsburg Blue in Maple Grove. It was such a fun night. We are so thankful that Josh's parents were able to hang out with the boys.

And finally today....was beautiful. We bundled up the little man and played outside! He went sledding on his new sled and we went for a family walk around the block. The temper tantrum when we brought him inside was even well worth all the fun we had :)

Family Dinner at the Farm

Sunday night Carter and I went down to the farm to have a yummy dinner with the fam. My aunt Janice was in town from Colorado so we of course had to head down to hang out. Carter had fun looking at all of the moooo cows and hanging out with his cousins.
