Christmas Day was spent with the Remme's. Josh and Cman went to the Sullivan house in Maple Grove to celebrate Christmas with the Remme side of the family. I was at work :( (But I did get to celebrate lots and lots of birthdays with the Christmas babies that were born :)

Thankfully, Carissa took over on picture duty and got lots of cute ones!

Once again, we cannot thank everyone enough. We had such a relaxing Christmas night by the fire with Josh's family. A great way to end a busy weekend.

Christmas 2010

Unfortunately this year I was scheduled to work 12 hour shifts all weekend over Christmas. However, I have amazing coworkers that worked part of my shift on Christmas Eve and Christmas...so I could spend time with Family! Thursday night we headed down to Bloomington to my mom's. We snacked on amazing appetizers all night and opened presents! We are so thankful for everything...Nana, Grandpa K and Uncle Bran were waaaaay too generous. Carter got lots of fun things! My Mom and Jeff were very generous and bought me (and Carter man) a ticket to Florida to visit them on Jan. 6th.

Every year the Thompson Family Bell Choir (my aunts, uncles and cousins) play hand bells at the Christmas Eve candle-light service at our church in Lakeville. It is a beautiful service and we are always able to get such fun pics of the family afterwards.

Moo Obsessed

Lets just say Carter is some-what obsessed with cows. He can spot one anywhere....whether it be on our tree....

At the Christmas tree farm (well he thought this was a cow...close enough)...

He can spot a cow from a mile away, whether it be in our fridge or on the random lady's milk in front of us at the grocery store, and yes he points and moooos the whole time he sees the cow...

One night I was cooking dinner and he kept mooing at the fridge, he spotted a moo cow on the sour cream container....

So with this new obsession, Uncle Brandon and Daddy downloaded a 'moo box' application. You turn the phone upside down and it moos back at you....Carter loves it....

And this boy can spot a cow in any book....he was mooing at his Baby Jesus Christmas book....I was wondering what he was looking at....there was of course a cow in the manger scene....

He knows exactly which page to turn to in order to find the cow...

As I am writing this blog...Carter keeps running over to the computer, pointing and yelling MOOOOOOOO!

Light the Grove

As many of you know...I have been working in the Family Birth Center at Maple Grove Hospital since early February. The hospital is nearing its 1 year anniversary....very exciting. Josh, Carter and I had some fun there on Thursday night. Christmas lights, reindeer, wagon rides, hot cocoa and carolers.....so much fun, and it definitely got us even more in the Christmas spirit.

8th Floor Macys

As youngsters we used to go to the 8th Floor at Macys (Daytons) downtown. We decided it would be a great tradition to continue with the little man. He had so much fun looking at all of the displays. This years theme was 'a day in the life of an elf.'
