Decor...Part 1 of Carter's Dino-mite Party!

Sunday was the big party! We had (well a lot) of people over to celebrate Carter's 1st Birthday. We decided to go big! A friend of Carissa's is VERY talented and did most of Carter's decorations. She is a teacher and is focusing on her family so she isn't doing many custom orders....but....I was SO EXCITED, when she agreed to do Carter's Dino-mite Party! (the banner, highchair accessory, bday crown, bday hats, favor tags, invite and door sign) Jess and her amazing creations! Here is Carter's Invite:

The adorable shirt was also made for little Carter. She has a shop on ETSY ... Golden Shop... so talented! I LOVED the shirt and coordinating bib!

My mom has a very very very talented coworker. She made Carter's AMAZING cake, cupcakes and smash cake!

Happy 1st Birthday Carter!

1 year ago today we welcomed this sweet little (well not so little) boy into our family. Happy Birthday Carter...Your mommy and daddy love you so much. (Mommy is going to start crying if she writes too much)....but oh how time flies.

Fun in Faribault

Last weekend a bunch of my girlfriends and their significant others got together in Faribault for dinner and drinks. We had so much fun with everyone!

Madeline Ryan

My best friend Molly had her baby girl Madeline Ryan on August 11, 2010 (yes our anniversary!) She weighed only 5lbs. 13oz. Because she was born 4 weeks early, I was only able to see her through the nursery window in the hospital (Little Madeline was under lights for jaundice) So this weekend, I was finally able to hold the little peanut! She is absolutely beautiful. I am so happy for Keith, Molly and big brother Riley!

He's a walkin!

This past weekend Carter definitely started walking a ton. It is now his main way of getting around. I can't believe he is walking!! He's growing up waaaaay to fast!

Grandma and Grandpa's

We spent last weekend in Faribault at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Carter had lots and lots of fun. Mommy and daddy were able to hang out with high school friends and Grandma and Grandpa were able to hang out with the little man.

We finally finished landscaping the front yard! As most of you know, we have had about 5 projects going on at our house this summer. The front yard is completely landscaped and we are pumped! Thanks to EVERYONE who helped. Eric, Brandon, Dean, and Eric's younger brother :) My hubby has a green thumb...who knew :) Good job Joshua! It looks great!
