Remme Vaca

Every summer the Remme's plan a get-a-way. This time we stayed up in Brainerd at Breezy Point. We had a great cabin and had a wonderful time. (Other than the fact that Carter, Cohen and I came down with the stomach flu, that put us out of commission for a week (hence the very late post). Any woo....

We had a fabulous time with family.

4th Of July 2011

I woke up to a phone call on the 4th of July saying "would you like to stay home today?" and I responded "YES!!"

So we spent the morning in Carter's new sandbox. Daddy built Carter a sandbox from scratch. It is so amazing! The sand is super fine and all around the sandbox is storage. Carter loves it!

The afternoon was spent at the pool. Love love love having a neighborhood pool on days like this. Here Josh is relaxing :)

Our neighbors had a bouncy castle all weekend. Carter loved it!

He definitely was keeping up with all the neighbor boys.

They were calling him 'spiderman' because he pretty much ran up the slide

without thinking twice about it.

It was a wonderful day to have off from work, and I was so lucky to have gotten the chance to spend it with my little family. After a tough weekend at work, this was exactly what I needed.

A special thanks to Carissa, Eric and the Eckoff family for letting Josh and Carter come out to camp Saturday. I know Carter had an absolute blast riding the four wheeler and tractor!

Duke and Dixie

A couple weekends ago I went to Miss Kara's baby (babies) shower.

She is preggo with twins!!

One little boy and one little girl.

They have been calling them 'Duke' and 'Dixie'

(I have a feeling those names are going to stick :)

Kara is now 31 weeks and is a high risk pregnancy, so her and Joe are prepared to possibly have some little preemies. Joe is one of Josh's good friends from college. We couldn't be happier for these to parents to be. And I can't wait for playdates! Except I told Kara...my little walking toddler germ will not be allowed near the twinnies unless he is running nose free :)

Miss Aubrey Ethel

I am a tad bit behind on blogging...you know summer...busy, busy, busy.

Well I definitely had to blog about this adorable little gal that entered the world on May 23rd. My girlfriend Briony and her husband Andy welcomed sweet baby girl Aubrey, and us girls were able to get some snuggle time in soon after they got home from the hospital. Isn't she a cutie...
