20 months

We cannot believe our little man is already 20 months. His checkup (technically 18 mo check up, ooops a little late) went well.

Carter is saying over 30 words. (Typically at this age the average is 10)

He is also saying two words together sometimes. Ex: No Bark!! (when disciplining lily)

He has most of his teeth. His eye teeth recently poked through.

Carter loves being outside, and especially loves going to the park.

He continues to be a busy little boy, but is the happiest little man always.

I had to include this pic. We were outside looking at all of the hail in the yard and I looked over and Carter's shorts were at his ankles. These particular shorts barely buttoned at the end of summer last year, but are now falling off of him :) Our chunky monkey is definitely turning into a little toddler....stretching out.

Cowboy Jacks

We tried out the new Cowboy Jacks off of 494. So much fun! Probably not a kiddo type of spot, but Carter was VERY entertained by the bull riding. Especially when Grandpa K got on :)

He lasted a VERY long time...haha

Absolutely petrified. He liked the bull a lot better when he was further away...

We were sitting in a perfect spot. Carter was entertained the entire dinner. We had so much fun seeing Jeff's parents...and spending the evening with family!

Luv for spring

Spring is by far my favorite time of the year. I love seeing all of the flowers and plants coming back to life after a long winter. I was extra excited this year, because our cute little clearance tree bloomed adorable little flowers. So cute! Who knew?

Well maybe someone who knew how to garden, but that's not me, so I was excited about the surprise!

Mr. & Mrs. Naab

Our very close friends Jesse and Andrea were married this past weekend.

Josh was asked to be an usher and was able to be a part of their special day!

Andrea of course looked absolutely gorgeous. Right out of a fashion magazine. And Jesse looked pretty good too :)

We are so incredibly happy for the two of them. We can't wait to spend many many many more years with the married couple and their future kiddos :)

Down on the Farm

I had a Friday off a couple weeks ago, so Carter and I took a trip down to

Lakeville for the day to hang out at the farm.

It's a big bummer that we don't live closer, because this little farm boy was in heaven. Everywhere he looked there was a tractor or a cow!

Grandpa even gave him a tractor ride. (However, it was cut short due to a stinky diaper)

Side note: Grandpa Thompson (even though he lives on a farm with all of its smells) He definitely has a nose for a poopy diaper, and makes sure to tell the momma right away.

We taught him to growl at the Alien to scare him away...

And let me tell you....those of you with kiddos will agree....this may not be a five star restaurant...but as long as the little one is entertained the ENTIRE dinner, we don't care what we are eating as long as he sits still long enough for us to scarf down some food :)

ice chunks from the sky

We had some lovely ice chunks falling from the sky this evening. Carter had a ton of fun going around the yard throwing all of the "balls" after the storm. Too bad these ice chunks decided to leaves some nice dents in our car :(

Scrapbook Extravaganza!!

A couple weekends ago I had the opportunity to spend an entire 12 hours scrapbooking! SO SO SO Much fun! And I got so much done :) 17 pages total....

Here is my spot...'organized' mess I like to call it.

Oh and here are Carter's scrapbooks....2 FULL books. And yes I am only to 4 months of age. I need to stop taking so many pictures :) Thanks hubby for hanging out with the little man all day...Momma had a blast scrapbooking!
