Growing up we had 3 dogs that were a huge part of our life. Shelby our crazy, energetic husky/lab, Max her lazy, amazing puppy and Bailey boo a ... well we didn't know exactly what she was, but she was super cute. Max and Bailey had to go live at my Grandma and Grandpa's farm, since we moved to a neighborhood that did not allow more than 1 dog. My Grandma was amazing enough to 'adopt' our dogs. They loved being at the farm, and Bailey would have gone crazy if she were trapped in the city. She was a wanderer and loved to explore. This past week my Grandma had to make a difficult decision to put Bailey to sleep. They found a tumor and would have had to do extensive surgery to remove the tumor and there was a very good chance it would come back. And for those of you who knew Bailey, she was a goofy doggy, who didn't like a ton of attention, and she would have hated having to go through any type of procedure. The vet came out and put her to sleep peacefully.
My favorite memory of Bailey was when we got her, we brought her home (without asking dad first) and placed her in a puppy bed by the fireplace in the family room. Dad came home, sat down on the couch, watched some t.v. and I swear 30 minutes later said..."WHAT is that?!" hehe and of course she became a part of our family in a second.
We love you Bailey boo and we know you are in doggy heaven with Shelby, Max, Wes, Kirby, and Brandy causing a whole bunch of trouble.
